How to play Galeshot
A visual guide · Learn your first shot, two-hit bolts, shields and endless waves with illustrated examples.
Your goal
Aim high. Keep the garden bright.
Fire your wind cannon at descending storm drones before they reach the garden. Line up two drones for a Double, protect your shields and keep playing through endless waves.
These are simplified teaching diagrams, separate from your live field. Galeshot runs in real time and needs no sound. Reading help pauses your run; close it and choose Resume when ready.
01Make your first shot
Aim at a drone, then hold to fire
- Choose Start. Mouse: move over the field to aim, then hold the primary button to fire. Release to stop.
- Touch: press and drag on the field to aim and fire. Lift to stop. You can play in portrait or landscape.
- Keyboard: focus the game, use Left and Right or A and D to aim, and hold Space to fire. P pauses or resumes. Start and Resume need a fresh fire press afterwards.
02Line up a Double
One bolt can hit two different drones
Keep firing while you adjust your aim. You do not need to line up every shot: saving a low drone is more useful than waiting for a perfect Double.
03Protect your shields
Chevrons warn that a drone is close
- The round brass mechanism is a storm drone. The bright narrow trail is your bolt. Downward chevrons and a warning outline mark drones close to the garden line.
- Score is your earned total, Wave counts the continuing waves, and filled shield symbols show your remaining chances. Wave clear and Shield restored are status messages.

04Continue, take a break, or Bank
A clear starts the next wave
- Bank asks you to confirm. Bank score finishes with your earned points, including partway through a wave; it does not add an unfinished clear bonus. Keep playing returns you to a paused run. Play Again starts fresh; Menu returns to the games.
- How to Play retains the original text. Visual Guide opens these pictures. Help, browser interruptions and too little room preserve your run, then require explicit Resume.
- The field needs at least 324 × 216 pixels, with room for the HUD and controls. Browser headers and safe areas affect available space. If the game asks for more room, resize or rotate your device.
- Use Full screen when supported, or Expand game for a larger view. Browser bars may remain. Use the display control to exit. Scroll outside the field to reach information below.
